Abstract :
The effect on characteristics of microorganism in BAC process by ozone preoxidation was made. The result showed that the organics removal rate and the population of microorganism in BAC process were increased by ozone preoxidation. The result of heterotrophic bacteria separation showed that the Bacillus was the majority and the proportion of Bacillus increased in BAC process with ozone preoxidation. Compared with BAC process alone, more population of nitrite bacteria and nitrate bacteria were obtained in the BAC process with ozone preoxidation. In the experiments for nitrobacteria separation, the results showed that Nitrosospira, Nrtrosominas were the predominant nitrite bacteria in the biofilter alone, but only Nrtrosominas was founded in biofilter with ozonation. Nitrate bacteria were same in both biofilte and Nitrobacter and Nitrospina were the predominant nitrate bacteria.
