  • Abstract
    In this paper, a disassembly sequence planning approach using an advanced immune algorithm is proposed. Firstly, an advanced support matrix is constructed to represent the stability of a product, by which the method to derive the stability of parts in the product is given, and this stability is considered as one of the evaluation objectives in disassembly sequence planning. Secondly, because the partheno genetic algorithm has good ability to avoid premature convergence, an advanced immune algorithm integrated with the partheno genetic algorithm (AIA) is developed to solve the disassembly sequence planning problem. Finally, a case study is given to verify the proposed approach.
