Abstract :
We show that our scheme, which should formally employ a nearly isotropic fiber for a loop, can also have a switching action alternatively with birefringence fiber for the loop and therefore be more practical in an experiment. The device consists of a symmetric coupler, a birefringence fiber loop, and a set of asymmetrically located polarization retarders
