Abstract
The Hunterston B nuclear power station, operated by Scottish Nuclear Limited, incorporates two advanced gas cooled reactors (AGR), with a total capacity of 1150 MW. These units have operated very successfully since they were commissioned in 1976, with a planned load factor close to 80% by the end of 1994. This paper describes a cumulative life assessment system software package (CLASS) which is designed to perform life usage calculations for specified Hunterston AGR components using actual reactor histories and existing analyses
