  • Abstract
Considering a series of problems including the oil wells are distributed dispersedly in oil field and the field data being not returned in time which resulting in the fault in oil production wells cannot be forecasted and dealt with timeliness. In this paper a remote monitoring system of pumping unit based on ZigBee wireless mesh network is proposed. The system adopts the ZigBee technology as the mainly wireless communication mean and uses the self-organizing wireless mesh networks for data transmission medium. This paper includes the hardware configuration of monitoring system, the on-site data acquisition realizing and data network establishing. The ZigBee wireless mesh network has some advantages compared with other wireless networks, it has the characteristics of low power, low price, low put-off, high-bandwidth, no-blind area, end to end security connection, so this remote monitoring system has good cost performance ratio.
