Abstract
An accurate method for the measurement of the voltage-current phase angle is implemented in a data acquisition system during aging tests of polymer insulators. The voltage-current phase angle and surface resistance measurement results in the course of aging tests are presented and analyzed. The test results show the trends of the phase angle and surface resistance changes during "fog off\´ and "fog on" periods of fog chamber tests.
