Abstract :
A MIMO LTI system in discrete time is controlled remotely with a transmission capacity constraint N, equal to the number of different symbols available to encode the state vector. In the assumption that only one symbol can be transmitted at each point in time without delay, a controller is found to guarantee practical stability with static quantization and control amplitudes bounded by a saturation constraint. A dynamic quantization scheme is developed to achieve asymptotic stability with bounded capacity N
