Planned lifetime management increasing availability and reducing costs

The author suggests that support and maintenance of operating plants is a necessary evil. We can´t do without it, but we would prefer to if we could! This paper explains the process being used by Rolls Royce and Associates (RRA) to help reduce this support burden and improve the effectiveness of complex plants. The author introduces RRA, outlines the maintenance problem, then explains the approach with some practical examples
