Abstract
Considering that the real-time measuring distance in opportunistic networks is a complex and time-consuming process. In this paper, we propose a simple and cost effective method of low cost, and bootstrap wireless devices by employing available social profiles. Moreover we put forward a so called “Community Distance-based forwarding protocol (CDBFP)” routing algorithm. The new routing algorithm uses people´s social profiles so as to get real valuable community distance between nodes, and proposes the information forwarding protocol. Simulation experiments show that CDBFP is cost effective and has high delivery ratio.
