Abstract
The authors present experimental characteristics of a proximity coupled tapered slot antenna (PCTSA) for an array element in millimeter wave band applications. They present the current distribution of the PCTSA to find the basic mechanism, and its resonance condition is explained by its current path length. The authors propose a high gain model of the PCTSA, and also present experimental characteristics and its basic mechanism
