Abstract :
An algorithm using finite difference to digitize a wave equation is introduced for the simulation of sound propagating in different sound intermediate. Simulation system according to algorithm is achieved using VC on a Windows 2000 platform. Simulation model according to actual noise-proof board situation in double driveway is built. Calculation project is designed to get the test result of different soundproof material and different sound proof configuration. Then three simulation experiments using the computer program is performed and the conclusion of the soundproof board effect is received.
