Abstract
With the development of the third generation wireless communications technology, application fields of GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) are expanding. The data collection and wireless technology form wireless data acquisition and launch systems. It is widely used in water, electricity, gas and other auto-detection systems. In this paper, two parts are included. In hardware design part, wireless communication module G200, switch data acquisition module R4050, analog data acquisition module R4017 are used, attaching TTL-RS485 adapter plate, TTL-RS232 adapter plate and +12 V, +5 V power supply modules. They together built up a hardware system. In software design part, functions of pipe network monitoring system are implemented, namely, communications, on-site state simulation, real-time curve display, generate and print reports, and Access database access.
