Abstract :
Integration of small-scale distributed energy resources into low-voltage networks requires a smart approach. A self-organising network of distributed energy resource controllers can derive network topology information that may be used for smart control decisions. This paper illustrates a multi-agent distributed control system that uses location information to solve a voltage problem, and demonstrates its full closed-loop application on a realtime distribution network model.
