  • Abstract
Context-awareness is an important feature of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) applications as it provides an ultimate tool for making the applications ”smart”. Context represents any knowledge obtained from WSNs such as time and location of a sensed event. The information about the sensed events is comprehensive when it is provided with the time and location of the occurred phenomena. In this paper we overview selected algorithms on node localization, temporal event ordering and time synchronization in WSNs. It is necessary to consider these areas concerning spatio-temporal correlation of events in WSNs in order to build context-aware WSNs.
