Abstract :
In near future, user equipment (UE) will operate in a multimode heterogeneous system, providing speech, data and new emerging value-added services to the wireless user. In this paper, we propose a UE geo-positioning method that harnesses on the cellular and peer-to-peer connectivity capabilities of the heterogeneous system, introducing higher accuracy in the estimated UE location.
