Abstract :
In this paper, a reconfigurable circularly-polarized 2×2 array antenna designed at 5.8 GHz is presented. This array will be fabricated in LTCC technology. Preliminary simulated results for right and left circular polarization show an axial ratio level below 3 dB in a beamwidth of 30 degrees on XZ and YZ planes. Also, a good impedance matching is obtained with return loss above 10 dB from 5.7 GHz to 6.1 GHz. In addition, radiation patterns are quite similar for the two operating modes.
