Abstract
The sediment core DS of Higher-up Lake has been determined by using the method of 137Cs & 241Am dating. Both results were unanimous. Results showed that two peaks of 16 cm and 14 cm were observed in 1963 and 1974, respectively. Sedimentation rates of the core were 0.34 cm a-1 and 0.39 cm a-1, respectively. The results obtained from the combine of the two methods were reliable.
