  • Abstract
An inductive domestication method for removing SO2 from tail gas contained SO2 were set up. A group of desulfuration bacterium are obtained with this method domesticating the bacterium in oxidation ditch of city sewage treatment plant over 6d with low concentration SO2 gas. The desulfuration bacterium have an ability with biodegradation rate of 600 mg(SO32-)/(L.h) during 0.5h, and degradation efficiency of 85% during 1.5h for SO2 in aqueous solution with their synergy. The results of the clone library and two phylogenetic trees of the desulfuration bacterium communities based on 16S rRNA DNA comparison by DNA extraction of the sample and in situ polymerase chain reaction (PCR) showed that 8 dominance desulfuration bacterium occupy about 69% of all desulfuration microorganism. There are 4 is belong to α-proteobacteria, and another 4 are belong to β-proteobacteria in the dominant desulfuration bacteria The gene information about 16S rRNA sequence of the dominant desulfuration bacteria provide a base of looking for or domesticating desulfuration bacterium for development microbial desulfurization technology of contained SO2 tail gas.
