Abstract :
The paper deals with the improvement of distribution grid operations at City Power, Johannesburg, South Africa, based on better knowledge of asset condition in the field and related maintenance, replacement or expansion requirements, derived from accurate and consistent (near) real-time information acquired via the combination of state of the art SCADA and Mobile Workforce Management systems.
