Abstract :
The Batch equilibrium experiments were used to reveal streptomycin adsorption on three kinds of soils in Inner Mongolia pastoral, China. The effects of pH, soil organic content and microorganisms on adsorption were investigated. The results obtained were well-described by the Freundlich and Langmuir model, while fitted the linear model successfully. Different adsorption behaviors of streptomycin were observed in three tested soils. The Freundlich adsorption constant values (lgKf) ranged from 0.946 (Xilinhot) to 1.297 (Hohhot). The free energy of sorption values were ranged from -21.2 to -22.3 kJ/mol in this research, indicated that the adsorption pattern were physical adsorption. Streptomycin adsorption ability was in a significantly negative correlation to soil pH. Organic content and microorganisms in soils strengthened the adsorption of Streptomycin on soil.
