Abstract :
A dual square trident ultra wideband (UWB) antenna is proposed in this paper. The antenna design is composed of two tridents, symmetric about the microstrip feedline. The ground plane is sized so as to increase the impedance bandwidth. The antenna has a size of 26 mm × 24 mm × 1.525 mm and a dielectric constant of 1.96. The simulated gain of the antenna varies from 2.83 dB to 8.57 dB.
