Abstract
A 16-channel amplifier has been fabricated for attachment to high frequency ultrasound transducers. Bandwidth of 70 MHz was achieved with a gain of 11 dB with a load of 73 Omega in parallel with 22 pF. The design also allows 4 to 1 multiplexing of channels. The power consumption of each amplifier cell was 30 mW.
