Abstract
This paper considers switched bimodal systems where it is desired to achieve regulation against known disturbance or reference signals. The design of the proposed regulators involves two main steps. First, a set of observer-based Q-parameterized stabilizing controllers for the switched system is constructed and the stability for the resulting closed loop switched system is analyzed. Second, using an appropriate coordinate transformation, the forced switched closed loop system is transformed into an unforced impulsive switched system. Two sufficient conditions for the stability of the origin of the impulsive switched system are presented, which are equivalent to achieving regulation in the original switched closed loop system
