Abstract :
A new generation ultra-wideband hybrid variant which resembles a `mushroom´ has been explored. The proposed structure shows nearly 137% impedance bandwidth, the largest value that could be achieved so far. A uniform monopole type radiation with 10 dBi peak gain has been examined.
