Abstract :
This paper deals with stabilization of continuous time systems with ternary control inputs, where the control input is generated based on pulse width modulation (PWM). Systems are discretized, and analysis and synthesis is carried out in the discrete time domain. The discretized system is a nonlinear control system whose control input is a duty ratio in a generalized sense. A sufficient condition for the existence of a stabilizing linear static state feedback law is given by some matrix inequality conditions. The effectiveness of the proposed method is examined by using a numerical example
