Abstract :
Through building dynamic model of car-trailer braking process, utilizing function fmincon () offering in the optimization toolbox of Matlab, the braking force distribution coefficient of car-trailer brake was optimized. The result shows that car-trailer can realize the optimum locking sequence that tractor front axle is locked firstly, then trailer axle is locked, finally tractor rear axle is locked; and keeping good braking performance in most pavements after optimization.
