Abstract :
The paper mainly focuses on the study of four selected waste materials to the adsorption of waste hydrogen sulfide (H2S). They are sand, red clay, compost and waste wire from tyre, respectively. The capability, ability and adsorption rate of H2S are measured and discussed. The data are fitted by models. The results indicate that red clay has the best capability to H2S adsorption. The waste wire has the fastest adsorption rate because of quick chemical reaction on its surface.
