Abstract :
The coherence and the accuracy of a cw optical parametric oscillator (OPO) as an optical frequency divider and an optical frequency comb generator (OFCG) as a sideband generator were measured. The accuracy of the OPO as an optical frequency divider was checked at the level of 6/spl times/10/sup -13/. The accuracy of the OFCG sideband generation was better than 7/spl times/10/sup -12/.
