Abstract :
Wireless sensor networks and traditional wireless networks have significantly different characteristics of performance and technical requirements. The traditional wireless networks MAC (medium access control) protocol can not be applied to sensor networks, suggest a number of related agreements against the various characteristics of sensor networks, this paper presents an adaptive cross-layer design of the program and has done a simulation, reached some conclusions.
