Abstract :
An antenna system, where a single fed antenna with wide beam and a parasitic plate having homogeneous loops (HomLP) placed above it, is investigated to obtain a high-gain circularly polarized (CP) beam. The investigation shows that the system radiates a CP narrow beam in the broadside direction with a high gain of 15.3 dBi. In addition, a different antenna system, where the HomLP is replaced by an inhomogeneous loop plate, is investigated. It is found that a tilted CP radiation beam is realized with a high gain of 16.7 dBi.
