Abstract :
A further investigation for the pear shaped metallic antenna covered with a thin dielectric layer is presented. Antenna radiation characteristics´ dependence on its geometry and electromagnetic parameters has been studied. The prototype of such an antenna has been prepared and measurements have been conducted. The comparison between the numerical and experimental results is given.
