Abstract :
This paper presents a new CMOS analog equalizer for short-reach optical communications with tuning range between 300 MHz and 3.6 GHz. The prototype has been designed in a standard 0.18 μm CMOS process. This equalizer uses a current-mode process to decrease the supply voltage and the power consumption. Thus, it operates with a supply voltage of 1 V and has a power consumption of 1.1 mW.
