Abstract :
In this paper, a novel improved PMCHWT equations are developed to achieve fast and accurate solution of electromagnetic scattering from 3-D homogeneous dielectric objects. By adding the current operator into the existing PMCHWT operator, a well-conditioned improved PMCHWT matrix is achieved. The initial guess of the currents and update process are required for reasonable accuracy and convergence performance. Several numerical results demonstrate that the proposed method can gain much faster convergence than the conventional PMCHWT equations with high accuracy.
