Abstract :
Based on enhance certainty information purpose of sensor node, a star deployment strategy scheme is proposed to improve connectivity probability for wireless sensor networks, we define two type deployment points, that are primary and minor deployment points, which are arranged different quantity sensor node. In addition, because sensor nodes are dropped in a batch from a helicopter, we think sensor nodes ultimately reside in the 3sigma range of deployment center based on 3-sigma theory. It is shown that star deployment networks have a significant local and global connectivity probability advantage compared with purely random and possion networks. Simulation shows that performance of sensor network can be considerable improved with the use of our proposed scheme. The scheme and its detailed performance evaluation are presented in this paper.
