Abstract :
Titania / zeolite photocatalyst was prepared by sol-gel methods using butyl titanate as titanium source and the artificial zeolite as the carrier for photocatalytic degradation of simulative nitrobenzene wastewater. SEM analytical technique was applied for the characterization of the samples´ surface structure. The catalytic results were studyed on conditions of diffierent load volume, different amount of catalyst, and different pH. When the zeolite loading of TiO2 was 21% and the pH = 2-4, photocatalytic effect was the best, and the photocatalytic degradation rate reached 90.1%.
