Abstract :
The increasing use of micromechanical systems in industry and the permanent increase for higher measuring accuracy has led to ongoing development in the field of 3D coordinate measurement. This development includes new designs embodied in unconventional machine structures and also the application software error compensation techniques. The paper over view in case of a novel design the error sources, their influence on the measuring accuracy and the suitable compensation algorithms
