Abstract
This paper investigates the direct position determination (DPD) problem from passive measurements made with a moving antenna array in the case of a timevarying number of emitting moving sources. We use two DPD approaches to solve the estimation problem based on a single source and a multi-source model, respectively. The Qd-DPD approach offers a superior performance for intermittent sources where 1d-DPD tends to fail.
