Abstract :
A method is proposed to monitor the displacements of 0-5 mm without any effects of the environment temperature. The proposed system includes an oscillator giving an output including two independent components with different frequencies. From the measured values of two frequencies both the position of the movable core attached to the oscillator coil and the ambient temperature are to be obtained
