Abstract :
Innovation resource utilization is closely related with the capability of transforming regional innovation resource into innovation income. While the issue of industry cluster innovation network and its performance becomes a hot topic in recent research, we posit that innovation network structure could influence the capability of network´s innovation resource utilization and thus enhance performance. First of all, we advance simulation research framework based on complex adaptive system theory. Then we put forward the research hypothesis and establish the adaptive model of innovation network structure influences innovation resource utilization based on above simulation research framework. Finally the simulation study of innovation network structure influences innovation resource utilization has been done on Repast simulation platform, and empirical study also be used for verification. The results show that the changes of the network structure could cause the agents in innovation network choosing different utilization mechanism and by this way to influence innovation resource utilization.
