  • Abstract
    This paper presents the investigation results and performance issues obtained from the design and implementation of an embedded based RFID reader and passive tag system. The RFID reader is based on an ARM7 processor running eCOS RTOS, while the passive RFID tag uses a low power 4-bit microcontroller with the tag functions implemented in assembly language routines
