Abstract :
A novel missile-borne passive radar is proposed for the detection of exospheric target. For meeting the need of stealth, the universal GPS signal is applied to the passive radar for acting as the signal of transmitter. The system mechanism and the framework of the GPS signal receiver and scattering wave receiver for the passive radar is described for the next in-depth study. And the key performance of system and the problem of Doppler compensation for the passive radar are also elucidated.
