Abstract
A kind of new type linear ultrasonic motor (LUSM) will be discussed in this paper. According to the experimental results, its maximum speed of move right is 40.3 mm/s under conditions of 90 VP_P of driving voltage, 63.4 kHz of driving frequency and 1.31 kgw of load. And its maximum speed of move left is 44.8 mm/s under conditions of 100 Vp-p of driving voltage, 63.4 kHz of driving frequency and 5.51 kgw of load.
