Abstract :
An embedded image acquisition system is designed and implemented to realize image acquisition, data saving and communication. The system is powered by a C8051F microprocessor, which is also equipped with a OV7620 digital video camera chip, a IDT124SA CMOS Static RAM, a MAX485 lower power transceiver interface. The system is not only small in size, but also has high real-time performance. Because the system has gained enough memories by EMI interface, it can save and calculate image in lower computer. For its special communication mechanism, it can accomplish multi-processor communication stably. It can be applied independently or used as a kernel module for large system. The tests show that the system is running in good condition and it has been put into use.
