Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the uncertain parameters and time-delays of nonlinear chaotic systems. In this article, a novel artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC), with optimization technique based on the foraging behavior of honeybees, is newly proposed to solve the problem. A nonnegative multi-modal nonlinear optimization is established, whose minimums correspond to a best combination of parameters and time-delays. The illustrative examples, in Lorénz, Chen, Lü chaos systems and Mackey, Logistic time-delay chaotic systems, are given though ABC. Simulation results demonstrate that ABC can identify the parameters of the systems accurately and effectively, and it may be a promising tool for chaotic system identification as well as other numerical optimization problems in physics.
