Abstract :
This paper proposed a new method to enhance the smooth degree of the data series based on simple Gaussian function lscr-x 2. It was proved that the new method was effective and its effect was better than logarithmic-power function transformation theoretically. When all the values of the whole data series ranged from 1 to lscr , this method still could improve prediction precision. Grey models of yield of aquatic products and population in China recent years were built by means of the proposed method at the end of the paper respectively. Their results show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.
