Abstract :
A three-stand hot rolling control system is presented and developed based on S7-300 PLC, PROFIBUS and FameView configuration software. It can meet the requirements of the hot rolling production. The control system has proved to be effective when applied to a steel factory. The structure, components and implementation of the system are described in this paper.
