Abstract
A major component of a search engine from information retrieval point of view is crawler. It works at the back end and is busy throughout in downloading the documents and depositing them at the repository/collection maintained by the search engine. Relevance of the collection with the users´ current topic of interest is a major concern. In this paper a method for improvement of temporal relevance of the collection has been developed which takes care of the users´ current topic of interest by tracking the search queries supplied by them to a search engine.
