  • Abstract
We present a case study, based on the STEM teaching toolkit “Scoolio,” that demonstrates how carefully designed experiments, based on computers, real and virtual instruments, can extract the essence of complex scientific concepts, present it to the students in a hands-on manner, and invite them to explore further and deeper. The study also illustrates the effectiveness of the computer-aided science education even in low-budget conditions, and provides evidence that the cooperation of open-minded and creative teachers, and small businesses, can constructively shape the education of the future.
