Abstract
In this contribution we report on the design and performance of optical parametric oscillator (OPO) systems and frequency converters investigated at present in our laboratory. This includes seeded and unseeded BBO-OPOs pumped by the harmonics of injection-seeded Nd:YAG lasers. Aspects which are of special interest are design criteria, tuning range, efficiency, output power, pulse shape and the spectral properties of the generated coherent light
