Abstract :
This paper reports about fundamental transmission performance for ROF-RVC based mobile CATV system. We have proposed the concept of multiple services transmission for RVC system, where several services signals are integrated on the same radio frequency band by exploiting the broadband transmission capability of ROF system, and thereby achieves simple configuration of antenna module. As an attractive application form of such multiple services transmission, we have proposed mobile CATV system that is provided by the introduction of conventional CATV signal to such multiple services transmission on the ROF-RVC system. The mobile CATV system could realize both of one-way broadcasting and two-way data transmission applications under mobile environments, inherently providing the intelligent security control of the conventional CATV system. Thus, in this paper, we evaluate the fundamental transmission performances of such mobile CATV system, and discuss about the feasibility of the system.
